Meet BWE Phenomenal Woman - Apostle Dwana Whitaker

Apostle Dwana Whitaker was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee. She is the product of a single parent home. However, being the product of a single parent home taught her how to be strong, confident and independent. Her personality and perseverance has made her life successful. She is the wife of Bishop Kevin Whitaker and they have been married for almost 23 years and have 5 beautiful daughters. This woman of God has been a nurse for 27 years and loves the call that God has placed on her life. Within the ranks of nursing, she has held many management positions and is sought out by corporations to come in and bring order to their facilities. Apostle Dwana Whitaker has been elevated to the Director of Nursing and She loves being a leader and helping her facility become the best it can be. She is now the CEO and founder of Higher Standards Nursing Agency. She is a true servant of God and serves with her husband as an Apostle. She has also helped him to plant Raising the Standard International Ministries located in Memphis tn and now EPIC Church International Atlanta located in Douglasville ga. She teaches and imparts into other women through her ministry Women of Standard and is a great preacher in her own right. She’s also the Director of Women for Raising the Standard International Fellowship, where she serves with her husband who’s the Presider.

Her purpose is to let women know that they don’t have to go through difficult situations alone. She reiterates how important it is for people to reach their full potential and destiny. Apostle Dwana is also the host of the annual “I’m a Bad Woman” Womens Conference.
